Legal form, occupational title and competent chamber of lawyers: Our law firm is a partnership under the German Civil Code (“Gesellschaft bürgerlichen Rechts”, GbR). Michael Siegert, Michael Keller and Dr Dominik Nikol are qualified lawyers according to the law of the German Federal Republic and members of the Chamber of Lawyers Freiburg (Rechtsanwaltskammer Freiburg, Bertoldstr. 44, 79098 Freiburg, Germany), which is also the competent supervisory authority.

Professional liability insurance: Professional liability insurance concluded with Gothaer Allgemeine Versicherung AG, Gothaer Allee 1, 50969 Cologne, Germany. The insurance coverage does not cover liability claims arising from
a) activities of law firms or offices established or maintained in other states;
b) advice on and activities relating to non-European law;
c) activities of lawyers in non-European courts.
Out-of-court conflict mediation: In case of a conflict between the lawyer and the client, an application for an out-of-court mediation may be filed at the regional Chamber of Lawyers Freiburg (section 73 para. 2 no. 3 in conjunction with section 73 para. 5 BRAO) or at the mediation agency of the German Federal Bar (section 191f BRAO), email: email@example.com.
